BJP has announced seven more candidates list for Lok Sabha elections. Candidates are being announced for seven Lok Sabha seats of UP- Pratapgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Jaunpur, and Bhadohi. BJP has fielded Sangam Lal Gupta from Pratapgarh, Mukund Bihari from Ambedkarnagar, Pravin Nishad from Sant Kabir Nagar, Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur, Ramapati Ram Tripathi from Deoria, KP Singh from Jaunpur and Ramesh Bandh from Bhadohi.
BJP has played the biggest stake in Gorakhpur where the famous film star Ravi Kishan has been fielded by the Saffron party. At one stage, the reputation of CM Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur was at stake. Ever since BJP lost the by-election, Bhartiya Janata Party was looking for the alliance’s candidate- Praveen Nishad.
It was also believed that the party can field up Praveen Nishad in the field but he has been given ticket from Sant Kabir Nagar. It is worth mentioning that Praveen Nishad had defeated BJP in Gorakhpur as a coalition candidate only.
