Bharat Movie Teaser: Salman Khan’s story runs parallel to that of India

Apart from Salman Khan, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Aasif Sheikh and Varun Dhawan in a cameo appearance. Bharat is scheduled to be released on June 5th, 2019 on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.

The teaser of Salman Khan’s much awaited Bharat released on January 25th, 2019. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan. Apart from Salman Khan, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Aasif Sheikh and Varun Dhawan in a cameo appearance. Bharat is scheduled to be released on June 5th, 2019 on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.

In the teaser, Salman Khan appears to have several professions in the movie, we can see Salman Khan as a daredevil motorcyclist performing exhilarating stunts, a Navy officer and an ageing boxer. In the teaser, Salman Khan is heard saying that his father named him Bharat, after the country, therefore he doesn’t give importance to questions about his cast, creed, and religion. The teaser starts with the visuals of an overcrowded train at a railway station in Pakistan suggesting the pictures from the Partition of India.

The filmmakers in the teaser describe Bharat as the ‘journey of a man and a nation together’. Therefore, Salman Khan will be seen in different looks of varying age groups in the movie. The film is based on Korean war drama An Ode To My Father, the rights of which were bought by Salman Khan’s brother in law Atul Agnihotri.
