Fire breaks out in Metro hospital in Noida; no casualties reported

Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate B.N. Singh said more than 60 people were inside the hospital when the incident occurred. He said all are safe.

A fierce fire broke out at Noida’s Sector 12 Metro Heart Hospital near the National capital. As soon as the information was received, the police and fire brigade’s vehicles have reached the spot and started the rescue work. So far, about 20-30 people have been taken safely out of the hospital. More than a dozen fire engines are present on the spot. This fire has taken place on the third and fourth floor of the hospital.

According to the information so far it is not known how the fire has been broke out and how much damage has occurred. So far, the fire has been controlled. At present, work is being done to safeguard the patients. This fire has broke out to the third and fourth floor of the Noida Metro hospital. Fire has been set on fire for the last 50 minutes. According to the information when the fire started, some patients were also operating by the hospital staff.

A police official said the fire broke out on the second floor of the Noida Metro hospital around noon. The hospital authorities did not respond to repeated calls and text messages. 

However, Staffers tried to help patients out of the building in Noida, a suburban town in Uttar Pradesh on the outskirts of the national capital Delhi. Thick smoke could be seen billowing out of the building in Sector 12. People stood on ledges and on balconies as rescuers tried to reach them by smashing glass.
