Ever since the Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh have been heard saying that they want Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from Bhopal, her fans have been eagerly wanting to know her take on this. But Kareena Kapoor Khan has thrashed all such news and said that she has not been approached regarding this discussion and that at the present, her focus is only on the movies.
Apparently Congress leaders Guddu Chauhan and Anees Khan were of the opinion that since Kareena Kapoor Khan’s in-laws, the Pataudi’s share strong ties with Bhopal, it would be ideal for her to contest Lok Sabha Elections 2019 and represent Congress in Bhopal, and also since Kareena Kapoor Khan has a huge fan following from all age group in all parts of the country, it would be beneficial for the party.
Keeping the elections rumors aside, Kareena Kapoor Khan has started shooting of a new movie, Good News, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The film is expected to be released on 6th September 2019. Another project Kareena Kapoor Khan will be working on is Karan Johar’s next, Takht, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Jahnvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Alia Bhatt in key roles.
