For the Lok Sabha election 2019 (Lok Sabha Elections 2019), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released a second list of its candidates on Friday night. The list includes a total of 51 candidates. Among them, the name of the BJP’s current spokesperson Sambit Patra is being enrolled in the list. The party has fielded him from the Puri Lok Sabha constituency of Odisha. The second list of BJP, which was released late on Friday, candidates of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, and Odisha are included.
Voting will take place in Andhra Pradesh and Meghalaya in the first phase on April 11. While, Odisha and Maharashtra will vote on April 11, April 18, April 23 and April 29. Assam has also its elections on April 11, April 18 and April 23. Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are among the states that will also have their Assembly elections.
The third list has names of 23 candidates from Andhra Pradesh, six from Maharashtra, five from Odisha, and one each from Assam and Meghalaya. The party has now announced its candidates for all 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh
The 2019 General Elections or Lok Sabha Elections will be held from April 11 to May 19 in seven phases, and the results will be announced on May 23. The last date for filing nominations for the first phase of elections is March 25, 2019.
