Luka Chuppi Movie Trailer Review: Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luka Chuppi is a 2019 Indian
Guddu (Kartik Aaryan) and Rashmi (Kriti Sanon) meet and fall in love in Mathura. He proposes marriage, but she thinks they should live together to measure their compatibility before going for marriage. Soon they are dispatched to Gwalior for work assignment where they rent a flat to live together. Much of the film’s so-called humor revolves around the misunderstandings that the pair are married when they’re actually not. For reasons, they make repeated attempts to sneak off and actually get married.
The jokes in the movie seem forced. There are also a bundle of stereotypes shown in the film that is common in the Indian society. The acting of both the actors is serviceable. Kriti Sanon manages to look pretty while looking exasperated and Kartik Aaryan’s hair continues to make headlines. The film is allegedly a comedy one but at best delivers a handful laughs in the second half. For most of the part, the film is a boring one and lacks IQ.
