PM Narendra Modi can visit to Varanasi on Thursday. PM Modi may come to Varanasi in his parliamentary constituency in the evening. This election this will be his second visit in Kashi after the election dates announcement. PM Modi will stay in Varanasi on the night of May 16 and will remain till 17th of the evening. According to sources, PM Modi can visit Kashi Vishwanath on the last day of campaigning i.e. on 17th May. PM Modi is contesting Lok Sabha elections for the second time from Varanasi. BJP President Amit Shah can also reach Benaras. Earlier, PM Modi had visited Varanasi on 25th April, on 25th April, road show from BHU’s Lanka Gate to Dashashmeshh Ghat and on 26th April his nomination was filled. The last phase of elections is on 19th May.

In the 7th phase of 2019 Lok Sabha election, 13 seats of Eastern UP comes under this phase. Seats, where status is high, are; Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Mirzapur. That is, the two-day visit of Kashi can alter the political equation of Purvanchal. This visit of PM Modi is being seen in such a way that Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav have recently increased eight rallies in the Purvanchal. And it’s being predicted that by staying in Varanasi, PM Modi will surely get rid of political rallies of Akhilesh-Mayawati.
Significantly, on May 15, Priyanka Gandhi did a roadshow in favor of her party candidate Ajay Rai in Varanasi. Mrs. Shalini Yadav is contesting the election from SP-BSP’s joint support from Varanasi. There are still 25 candidates against the PM Modi in Varanasi. These candidates are from states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala, and Uttarakhand.
