The New Maruti Baleno facelift 2019 has been launched on January 28th, 2019 in India. The prices of the model will start from Rs. 5.45 lakh for the base petrol variant going up to Rs. 8.77 lakh for the top-end petrol automatic variant. The prices for the base diesel variant will start from Rs. 6.60 lakh and goes up to Rs. 8.60 lakh for the top-end variant. The cars have been shown in a showroom in Delhi. The Baleno cars have been the bestselling premium hatchback in India for a long time and Maruti has given it an update for the first time in almost four years. The prices of the Baleno facelift 2019 has gone up by up to Rs. 44,000, depending on the variants and drivetrain options.

The cabin of the new Baleno remains identical to the outgoing model in terms of design and finish and it continues with the all black theme with silver and blue inserts. The biggest changes in the car is made to the infotainment system which now gets Maruti’s newly developed Smartplay Studio which is an advanced infotainment system. The Smartplay Studio will let the users listen to latest music, surf news, get the latest update on weather and local eatries around.

The drivetrain options on the new Baleno 2019 remains unchanged. The new car has a 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 diesel engine options. While the engines of both the cars are mated to a five speed manual gearbox as standard, the petrol Baleno car also has a CVT automatic variant. Also safety features such as dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, anti-lock breaking, electronic brake force distribution and rear parking sensors are designed such to help the new Baleno 2019 to comply with the upcoming safety norms.
