In a feeble attempt to redeem their reputation, Pakistan media on Wednesday has started spreading fake news of two Indian Air Force planes that the Pakistani military claimed has shot down. The footages are actually of Indian Air Force jets that had crashed back in Jodhpur in the year 2016 and Odisha n the year 2015. Pakistani media also showed a video clip of an Indian Air Force pilot shot down which they claimed was by Pakistan military. The footage is indeed of an officer of the Indian Air Force who survived the twin crash of the Suryakiran aerobatics display team in Bengaluru on February 19th.
The footages of the fake news went on air in Pakistan just before a press conference by Pakistani military spin chief Major General Asif Gafoor. The footages of both the aircraft that were shot down had tail numbers, each aircraft and plane has a unique tail number so that it could be easily tracked online. Through the tail numbers, it was easily found out about the original footages from the past which are circulating in Pakistan in the present so that they could feel good about themselves.
The video clip shown of Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Vijay Shelke was also fake. He was one of the two pilots who got safely ejected after two Surya Kiran aerobatic display aircraft collided mid-air in Bengaluru.
