The controversy that has engulfed Hardik Pandya over his sexist remarks in the popular chat show Koffee with Karan hosted by Bollywood’s director and producer Karan Johan seems never-ending. Hardik Pandya faced a two-match ban after his misogynistic remarks on the chat show, and then returned to playing cricket, but the world hasn’t forgiven him yet. He is still being held accountable for his degrading remarks against women.
A female spectator who went to enjoy the cricket match between India and New Zealand on February 8th just leveled up the game by switching from Internet trolling to real life trolling. The female spectator held up a banner that read, “Pandya Aaj Karke Aaya Kya?”.
The remark is in direct reference to Hardik Pandya’s comment on Koffee with Karan where he said that when he lost his virginity he came back and told his parents, “Aaj karke aaya”. A picture of the female spectator holding the banner during the match soon went viral on the internet.
